We help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) build the lives they want. We create programs and learning tools. We hire, train, and mentor self-advocates. We value their lived experiences and help them share it with others.

Cynthia Burrow

Cynthia oversees all Self-Advocate Network projects. She enjoys designing programs to help people live the lives they want. She loves spreading the word about our work at conferences. She is the proud mom of a young man with autism.

James Meadours

James is a team leader for many Self-Advocate Network projects. He recruits and trains self-advocates. He speaks at webinars and conferences. He wants to inspire young people to join the movement and know the value of their experience.

Alisa Miller

Alisa handles all the content for the Self-Advocate Network. She loves researching and writing. She has a sharp eye for typos. Alisa has two adult kids who are both neurodiverse. This is why she cares so much about her work.

Jenn Giulietti

Jenn makes social media posts for our projects. She helps plan our content. She helps self-advocates share their voices through video. Jenn enjoys volunteering and reading. She is also the mom of twins and spends a lot of time building Legos.

Marci Whiteman

Marci coordinates the self-advocates who work on our projects. She helps them plan ahead, organize, and present. She is a strong advocate for direct support workers. Marci enjoys art, swimming, and helping others to enjoy life.
