Charles B. (known as Lee) is a self-advocate from Houston, TX. His main areas of expertise are research, writing, public policy, social justice, and human rights.

Lee has worked for many years in the legal field and enjoys research, analysis, and writing. He earned several degrees from the University of St. Thomas, including master’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Public Policy. He was an advisory board member and pilot tester for the Virtual Job Coach, an online career planning and job search program for neurodivergent people funded by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities. He helped test and design the program to make sure it worked well for people with different disabilities.

Lee wrote and self-published a book on Amazon called Innocent, Yet Executed. He also volunteers with Amnesty International, the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, United Against Human Trafficking, Social Motion Skills, and the ACLU of Texas.
