Independent Living
About
People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) can live on their own with the right help. We support self-advocates by teaching independent living skills. We share stories from others who have built the lives they want.

Courses
We have courses to help people build skills. Self-advocates can learn on their own, at their own pace. Families and staff can use support guides to learn together. Transition teachers and day programs can use group learning toolkits. These include guided learning plans and community-based practice.
Our core program is Real Talk About Independent Living. In it, you can:
- Learn through peer-led, story-based courses.
- Build and practice key skills.
- Get extra help to support self-advocates as they learn.
