Ashley S. is a self-advocate from Beaumont, Texas. She is a member of the Southeast Texas Self-Advocates leadership team and maintains their social media pages. She is an expert in peer support, participatory action research (PAR), advocacy leadership, creative arts, plain language/easy read, and social media.

Ashley was one of the first Peer Support Specialists for the TCDD Statewide Community Specialists program. Later, she became one of the first Senior Peer Support Specialists. Ashley co-leads outreach for TCDD Participatory Action Research and moderates its LinkedIn group. She also serves on the TCDD Governor’s Committee
